Husbands! Smack your wife across the mouth!

great advice received from a close jw relative who we visited last week.

she said that husbands are the head of the family, and if the wife doesn't support him in serving jehovah then he should give her a good smack across the mouth, thats what she deserves.

if only adam had given eve a good smack across the mouth when she proposed eating the fruit, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in now!

women of the bible were dominated by men. women were inferior and were treated as a slave, a possession or worse a dog. they could be bought or sold. women were silenced, blamed, beatened, condemned, stoned, raped and killed.

no matter how you take the words of the bible, chop them up and dish them out, the inferior status of women remains.

these bible boys need to be taught a good lesson.

What's the best dream you ever had? Or worst?

several times i have had dreams that i was dating richard gere!

not sure of the worst, cause i have had many, but one dream, my closet door flew open with wind and lights and noises coming out of it.

i woke up sweating, screaming, and crying!

When I was little I would fly in my dreams. My favorite was to watch the tops of trees as I flew by. I could re-create those dreams just by imagining I was on a roof top or I had to run fast to pick up speed enough to take off.

OK for those who remember their dreams, were they in color?

For a long time as a witness I dreamt in black and white. One day while I was a pioneer, I had a dream beyond all dreams. I was flying and singing with angels in full color and sound. I was half awake/half asleep. Being aware I was in a dream but, unable to move my body. I heard my own voice and even felt tears running down my cheeks but was physically frozen.

I think it was a combination of being in love with nature and god and studying the revelation book so often.

I never told another witness of my dream for fear of chastisement.
